• Recently the Department of Labor has started asking plan sponsors and plan fiduciaries what education and training they have recently participated in to help qualify them to meet the standards of a fiduciary.
• This developing requirement is a result of recent court cases and legal opinions.
• We are actively working with several resources to help plan sponsors and fiduciaries to receive, document and demonstrate education and expertise in this new developing area.
